“Cherginsky”, amaranth cultivar for Siberia

Amaranth is a novel grain for Russia exceeding corn and other silage crops in nutritional properties. The "Cherginsky" cultivar exceeds in many attributes and properties the cultivars developed for the European part of Russia, and foreign ones in some cases.

Advantage:

  • precocity
  • high yield performance of green (up to 85 ton/ha), dry matter and grain
  • high protein (up to 18 %) and indispensable aminoacids content in silage
